Message from Gen Z, Kenia

TO OUR MOTHERS, FATHERS, AUNTS AND UNCLES Parents, aunts, uncles, we know you have heard about #NaneNane on August 8, 2024 and we respectfully request you not to buy into fear. We know you care about your children but telling them to stay home is not the solution. Support your children to fight for their future. Look at the state of life at home – food prices have gone up, steam and water are high and we are still paying loans every day. Most of us survive on one meal a day. Is this the life we want for our families instead of your son or daughter staying home on this historic day? Send fare to your nephews and nieces in the interior. Let them come to Nairobi for the great march. Now is the time to spread this message. Send it to your friends, family and neighbours. When we all know the meaning of #NaneNane we will be stronger. This is our time to stand together as one. Share this message everywhere in WhatsApp groups, Facebook, Twitter. This is our fight. Let's build a new Kenya. God bless you.
