Omanga is known for her philanthropic work on behalf of women and young people in Nairobi's informal settlements—distributing aid such as water tanks and advocating for the awarding of contracts—and maintains a strong presence on social media. Omanga, who was long loyal to the UDA and vocally supported President William Ruto in the 2022 elections, has instead declared her support for key opposition figures, including Rigathi Gachagua, leader of the Democracy for Citizens (DCP) party, Fred Matiang'i of the Jubilee Party, and Kalonzo Musyoka, leader of the Wiper Party.
