A new Mpox-Case in Kenya

A new Mpox case has been confirmed in Kenya. There are currently 9 confirmed cases. Out of 227 samples tested, 211 were negative, with 7 samples still being tested.  Kenya confirmed its first Mpox case on July 24, 2024. The nine confirmed cases are spread across eight counties. Nakuru has two, Taita Taveta (1), Busia (1), Nairobi (1), Mombasa (1), Makueni (1), Kajiado (1) and Bungoma (1). “The ministry wishes to inform that no deaths have been recorded among the confirmed cases,” said Health Minister Barasa. https://www.breakingkenyanews.com/2024/10/kenya-confirms-one-new-mpox-case.html
