In a bit of good news from Nigeria, the court has unconditionally released 36 #EndBadGovernance protesters in Kano, granted bail to 35 others.
This decision was made following legal advice from the Office of the Attorney General, Ministry of Justice, Kano State.
The court reviewed the case of over 70 protesters who were represented by a team of lawyers from the Centre for Human Rights and Social Advancement (CEFSAN), Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Ungogo Branch, Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Kano Branch, and the Legal Aid Council of Nigeria.
